Defend the Weak

This is not how it should be;
This is not equality;
Dodging punches, just to keep the peace –
​This is not what you call free.

Selling bodies, selling souls,
Are we all not criminals,
When we sit silent, and we can hear their screams -
This is not how it should be.

Why don't we defend the weak?
Isn't it freedom that we seek?
Instead of consuming everything we see,
